House Financial Services and Agriculture Committee leaders have released a draft bill aimed at establishing a comprehensive U.S. regulatory framework for digital assets. Building on the earlier FIT21 proposal, the draft seeks to clarify the roles of the SEC and CFTC, require public disclosures from crypto projects and provide clear registration pathways for securities and digital commodities. The bill will be discussed at a joint House committee hearing on Tuesday, alongside ongoing efforts to advance stablecoin legislation, CoinDesk reported.
