Vitalik Buterin explains Ethereum rollup security stages and optimal transitions

He described how the security council's control evolves from full control in Stage 0 to limited oversight in Stage 1 and only intervening for provable bugs in Stage 2. Buterin emphasized that transitioning from Stage 0 to Stage 1 should be quick, but moving to Stage 2 too soon could be detrimental. He also stressed that a robust proof system is crucial before reaching Stage 2.
