CZ files for pardon in the U.S.

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) said in an interview that he filed for a pardon from U.S. President Donald Trump about two weeks ago, Watcher Guru reported. In March of this year, Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal reported that the Trump family was discussing acquiring Binance US shares and facilitating a pardon for Zhao, which he denied as groundless. CZ stated that he decided to file for a pardon after the media reported that he had made such an application. He added that he thought it would be better to file for a pardon officially if such reports were coming out. CZ confirmed that his lawyers are working on it and that they will take the legal steps required for the pardon process.
