Analysis: Bitcoin bull flag signals room for further upside
May 17, 2025, 1:21 AM
Bitcoin has been trading sideways below the $104,000–$105,000 resistance zone, which some analysts view as a consolidation within a bull flag—a bullish continuation pattern that often signals further upside, Cointelegraph reported. While buying volume has declined, on-chain data indicates that previous rallies were fueled by strong spot ETF inflows. However, the current market lacks fresh long leverage positions.
Analysts interpret the recent stagnation as a typical cooldown following Bitcoin’s 40% surge since April 8. According to Glassnode data, short-term profit-taking remains within historical norms, suggesting there is still room for additional price growth.
