U.S. crypto czar says Effective Altruists rebranded as China hawks after FTX collapse

He added that they are now trying to present themselves as “China hawks,” but their main goal—to slow down technological progress—hasn’t changed. Sacks warned that if this agenda gains influence, it could cause the U.S. to fall behind China in the race for AI leadership.
