Sei Labs co-founder unveils Sei Giga whitepaper

Jayendra Jog, co-founder of Sei Labs, announced on X the release of the Sei Giga whitepaper, marking a significant milestone in scaling the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Sei Giga is a multi-proposer EVM layer-1 network that introduces the Autobahn consensus protocol, a new execution client, asynchronous execution and storage layer. These advancements enable finality in under 400 milliseconds and deliver a high throughput of 5 gigagas per second.
