Block Scholes research analyst Habib Rahman said Bitcoin could outperform gold and stocks as seasonal factors in November and December historically favor risk assets, according to Crypto Briefing.
Bitcoin’s 90-day correlation with gold has risen to 54%, the highest since 2014, while its correlation with the Nasdaq 100 fell to 33% from 59% in February, nearing the lowest level in about a year. Bitcoin’s correlation with the U.S. dollar index also turned the most negative since early 2023.
Rahman said the shift in correlations began in June and accelerated after the U.S. Treasury announced in August that it would expand its Treasury buyback program to curb a rise in long-term yields. In the following week, Bitcoin posted its biggest weekly gain since March 2024, while gold rose 5%.
Rahman added that with the U.S. midterm elections approaching, November and December have historically been favorable months for risk assets, pointing to the potential for additional relative strength in cryptocurrencies.

CF Benchmarks, a unit of Kraken parent Payward, has launched CFB Oracle, an oracle service that delivers price indices used in traditional financial markets to blockchain applications, CoinDesk reported.

CF Benchmarks has provided price indices used for BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF and CME Group’s crypto futures. CFB Oracle offers benchmark prices across a range of assets including cryptocurrencies, stocks, bonds, commodities and foreign exchange.
For example, an onchain fund holding tokenized stocks can use the data to calculate portfolio value, while a lending platform accepting tokenized bonds as collateral can use it to set borrowing limits and liquidation thresholds. The service currently supports Ethereum, HyperEVM and Robinhood Chain, with plans to expand to other networks.

With BTC now trading near $80,000, the position is showing unrealized losses. The amount of ZEC bridged to Solana reached a record of about 103,000 tokens, worth roughly $124 million as of late October, with most of the supply coming through NEAR’s OmniBridge, Crypto Briefing reported.
ZEC supply on Solana rose from about 86,643 in May to 97,942 in mid-September before setting a new high this time. The record was based on token count, however, and its U.S. dollar value was lower than in mid-September, when it stood at about $132 million.
The number of addresses holding ZEC issued through OmniBridge climbed about ninefold, from roughly 17,000 in late June to more than 152,000 by late October. As of mid-September, about 79% of spot DEX trading volume in ZEC across all blockchains took place on Solana. ZEC bridged to Solana does not provide privacy-preserving features, meaning balances and transaction histories are visible.
