Cetus DEX seeks fund recovery and offers settlement

Sui-based DEX Cetus confirmed a $223 million exploit and provided an update on ongoing recovery efforts via X. The team has identified the root cause, patched the vulnerability and engaged with the Sui ecosystem, third parties and law enforcement. Cetus has also traced the hacker’s Ethereum wallet and is negotiating a whitehat settlement for the return of funds, offering to forgo legal action if terms are met.
