A U.S. federal court has overturned fraud and market manipulation convictions against Avraham Eisenberg, ruling there was insufficient evidence that he made false statements to the Solana-based decentralized exchange Mango Markets, according to Cointelegraph.
The judge determined that the platform’s permissionless design rendered it incapable of being legally deceived, vacating two charges and acquitting Eisenberg of a third. He had previously been convicted in 2024 for inflating the MNGO token by more than 1,300% and using the gains as collateral to withdraw $110 million in crypto assets.
