Arthur Hayes predicts Ethereum could hit $5K this year

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes believes Ethereum (ETH) could climb to $4,000–$5,000 by the end of the year. In an interview with Decrypt at Bitcoin 2025 in Las Vegas, he said ETH is currently the most hated layer-1 blockchain, and historically, the most disliked assets tend to deliver the best returns when market cycles turn—suggesting ETH could outperform.
