Japan’s Metaplanet adds 1,088 BTC, bringing total holdings to 8,888 BTC

Metaplanet, a Japanese publicly listed company known for investing in Bitcoin (BTC), shared on X that it has purchased an additional 1,088 BTC. This brings the company’s total BTC holdings to 8,888 BTC. In late May, Metaplanet announced its plan to issue $21 million in 0% ordinary bonds to finance further BTC acquisitions.
