Tether launches omnichain version of gold-backed token, XAUt0

Tether announced on Mirror.xyz that it has launched XAUt0, the omnichain version of its gold-backed token, XAUt. Built on LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard, XAUt0 allows smooth movement of gold-backed assets across various blockchains. The first deployment will occur on The Open Network (TON), expanding the accessibility and liquidity of Tether Gold for institutional investors and Web3 users.
