Crypto exchange Coinbase has asked a U.S. federal court to take over jurisdiction of Oregon's lawsuit charging it with selling unregistered securities, CoinDesk reported. The Oregon lawsuit is an overreach, Coinbase argued, adding that the case was initiated for political rather than legal purposes. The corresponding matter ought to be handled at the federal level, not the state level, Coinbase stated.
