Aave launches on Sony-linked Soneium blockchain

Aave has joined the Sony-backed Soneium blockchain, an Ethereum Layer-2 network, and will participate in liquidity incentive campaigns, including on Japan’s Astar blockchain. Plans are underway to integrate Aave’s GHO stablecoin into Soneium for real-world use cases. Soneium, with 7 million users, already hosts protocols like Uniswap v4, Velodrome, Stargate and Lido, CoinDesk reported.
