Ukrainian draft bill proposes allowing crypto in central bank reserves

Ukrainian legislators have introduced a draft bill proposing amendments to the law "On the National Bank of Ukraine" to allow the addition of crypto assets in the country’s gold and foreign exchange reserves, according to Cointelegraph. Lawmaker Yaroslav Zhelezniak noted on Telegram that while the bill would permit the central bank to hold Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in its reserves, it would not require the bank to do so.
