Bitwise researcher: Only 121 public companies hold Bitcoin, signaling early stage of corporate adoption

André Dragosch, Head of Research in Europe at asset management firm Bitwise, shared on X that only 121 public companies globally hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets, citing data from Bitcoin Treasuries. In comparison, the Wilshire 5000 Index alone includes 5,000 publicly listed companies in the U.S., underscoring how early it still is in the corporate adoption of Bitcoin.
