The Blockchain Group, a French blockchain firm, purchased 182 BTC for $19.6 million, increasing its holdings to 1,653 BTC, CoinDesk reported. The acquisition was funded by convertible bonds and share warrant conversions. The firm announced on June 17 that it had raised $7.7 million to support its strategy to become a Bitcoin treasury company.
