June 20, 2025, 6:53 PM
The Wyoming Stable Token Commission plans to launch the WYST stablecoin mainnet on Aug. 20, pending final blockchain selection. WYST, a USD-pegged stablecoin authorized in 2023, may launch on multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana and Aptos. The commission is testing smart contract integrations with vendors like Chainalysis and Fireblocks, ahead of a public rollout tied to the Wyoming Blockchain Symposium. According to The Block, additional trademarks for potential new tokens—FRNT and WEST—are also in progress.
