Tether becomes second-largest shareholder of Italy’s Juventus football club

USDT stablecoin issuer Tether has become the second-largest shareholder of Juventus, trailing only Exor NV, the Italian football club’s longtime majority owner, Bloomberg reported. The El Salvador-based crypto firm first revealed its investment in Juventus in February and had built up a 10.7% stake by April. As of June 23, that stake was valued at around 128 million euros ($149 million).
