U.S. House of Representatives passes bill promoting blockchain tech

The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Deploying American Blockchains Act (HB1664), Bitcoin Laws reported via X. The bill requires the Department of Commerce to establish policies to enhance U.S. competitiveness, support the adoption of blockchain by government agencies, set guidelines and support open source infrastructure.
