Sen. Lummis reintroduces crypto tax reform bill aiming for Trump’s approval

Wyoming Republican Senator Cynthia Lummis has introduced new crypto tax legislation aiming to modernize digital asset tax rules. The bill, similar to her previous proposal, includes ending double taxation on mining and staking and exempts transactions under $300. According to The Block, Lummis hopes to advance the bill to President Trump’s desk after earlier provisions failed to make it into the broader reconciliation bill still under review in Congress.
