Institutions hold 25% of Bitcoin as whales sell $50B

According to Bloomberg cited via Wu Blockchain on X, early Bitcoin whales have sold over 500,000 BTC—valued at more than $50 billion—over the past year, closely aligning with net inflows into U.S. Bitcoin ETFs. Meanwhile, institutional investors, including ETFs, corporate treasuries and asset managers, have acquired about 900,000 BTC, now holding roughly 4.8 million coins, or 25% of the total circulating supply.
