Tether Gold supply hits 250K tokens backed by 7.66 tons of gold

Tether now has nearly 250,000 Tether Gold (XAU₮) tokens in circulation, each backed by one troy ounce of gold—totaling over 7.66 tons. With a market cap above $830 million, XAU₮ offers digital exposure to physical gold, stored in Swiss vaults and available on major exchanges, The Block reported.
