Powell: FOMC meeting was quite successful

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said that the members who opposed the interest rate freeze (Waller and Bowman) are expected to explain their views within two days. He added that those two members believe that now is the time to lower interest rates. Powell suggested that disagreement is not surprising and that overall, the FOMC meeting was quite successful.
