Tether surpasses South Korea in U.S. Treasury holdings

Stablecoin issuer Tether (USDT) now holds more than $127 billion in U.S. Treasuries, surpassing South Korea to become the 18th-largest holder globally, according to crypto analytics firm Messari on X.
