Bitcoin may have already formed its monthly bottom in early September, following historical patterns, according to an analysis by CoinDesk. The outlet noted that BTC hit a low of $107,000 on Sept. 1 before staging a strong rebound. Since July 2024, Bitcoin has shown a tendency to establish its monthly low within the first 10 days of the month. While the lows in February, June, and August 2025 were exceptions that occurred in the latter half of the month, even those instances followed a short-term correction in the first 10 days before the asset resumed its long-term uptrend.
Historically, Bitcoin has demonstrated strong performance in the fourth quarter. The analysis added that the average return for the fourth quarter has been approximately 85%. Specifically, since 2013, the month of October has closed with gains in all but two instances.
