Nemo Protocol to issue NEOM debt tokens for hack compensation

Nemo Protocol, a Sui (SUI)-based trading platform recently affected by a hack, announced it plans to temporarily issue NEOM debt tokens to compensate victims. The protocol explained that the tokens will be backed by U.S. dollars and that it decided on this approach due to insufficient funds to fully reimburse victims in dollars. Future protocol revenues will also be used to help repay the funds.
