Citi predicts ETH could fall to $4,300 by year-end

Citi predicts that the price of ETH could fall from its current level to around $4,300 by the end of the year, CoinDesk reported. The bank noted that while the recent growth of Layer 2 solutions has boosted activity in the Ethereum ecosystem, it remains uncertain how much value this creates for the underlying Layer 1 network. Citi suggested the current price is a result of fund inflows and expectations related to tokenization and stablecoins. The bank outlined a bullish scenario where ETH could reach $6,400 by year-end, alongside a bearish case where it could drop to $2,200.
