Ethereum core developers could double their salary by leaving project

A survey has found that Ethereum core developers could earn more than twice their current salary by working on other blockchain projects.
According to the survey by Protocol Guild, Ethereum core developers who received outside job offers were presented with a median salary of $300,000. This compares to a median salary of $140,000 for the software developers who maintain and improve the Ethereum blockchain. Protocol Guild warned that this pay disparity could slow Ethereum's development pace if it leads to a large-scale departure of talent.
