UK regulator plans to ease some rules for crypto firms

The UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) plans to ease some regulations for cryptocurrency companies, the Financial Times reported. Under the proposal, crypto firms would be subject to less stringent rules than banks or investment platforms regarding senior managers, systems, and controls. However, stricter regulations will be applied in other areas, such as those concerning cyberattacks.
