Algorand appoints former Ripple engineering head as CTO

The Algorand Foundation has appointed Nikolaos Bougalis, former engineering lead at Ripple, as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), CoinDesk reported. Bougalis led the development of the XRP Ledger for nearly 10 years.
