Analysis: BTC to begin major rally once gold's run ends
October 02, 2025, 2:21 AM
Bitcoin could begin to rise more rapidly once gold's current rally subsides, according to Charlie Morris, Chief Investment Officer at crypto research firm ByteTree.
CoinDesk reported that Morris observed an alternating pattern of strength between gold and Bitcoin over the past two years. He noted that as BTC fell approximately 30% between January and April, gold rose 28%. Subsequently, gold's price stagnated until August, while BTC surged 60% from its low. Morris added that although gold has now risen for seven consecutive weeks, BTC remains below $120,000. He predicted that when the gold rally reaches its limit, Bitcoin will take over.
