October 04, 2025, 12:16 PM
Standard Chartered (SC) forecasts that Bitcoin could break through $135,000 in the short term and rise to as high as $200,000 by the end of the year. According to CoinDesk, SC crypto research analyst Geoffrey Kendrick explained that uncertainty over a U.S. government shutdown is now a supportive factor for a Bitcoin rally, unlike in the past. He added that inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs, which have lagged behind those for gold ETFs, are expected to accelerate.
