Vitalik Buterin proposes zero-knowledge tech for secret ballots

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has proposed using zero-knowledge (ZK) cryptography for secret ballots in government and judicial systems. He argued that the anonymity provided by the technology could help protect judges and lawmakers from retaliation. Zero-knowledge proofs allow a user to prove that specific information is true without disclosing the information itself.
