Nexus purchases $2M in Bitcoin

October 10, 2025, 2:17 AM
South Korean gaming and blockchain company Nexus has purchased $2 million worth of Bitcoin, ZDNet Korea reported. The acquisition is part of the company's ongoing treasury strategy to maintain its corporate assets in a 50/50 split between BTC and cash equivalents. Nexus CEO Henry Chang said the company will consistently pursue its 50% Bitcoin allocation strategy regardless of market conditions, adding that a slow but steady approach ultimately leads to success. The purchase follows a company resolution in August to buy 3 billion won ($2.1 million) in BTC and an announcement last month of its intent to acquire more Bitcoin after raising 10 billion won ($7.1 million) through convertible bonds.
