US Fed to discuss stablecoins, tokenization at Oct. 21 conference

The U.S. Federal Reserve Board (Fed) will hold its Payment Innovation Conference on Oct. 21 to discuss the development of financial infrastructure, including the use of stablecoins and tokenization. The Fed plans to host expert panel discussions centered on four key topics: the convergence of traditional and decentralized finance (DeFi), use cases and commercial models for stablecoins, AI-based payment innovation and technological integration, and the tokenization of financial products and services.
