StanChart sees BTC hitting $200K by year-end despite liquidations

October 22, 2025, 10:25 AM
Standard Chartered has analyzed that Bitcoin has the potential to rise to $200,000, even after the cryptocurrency market recently experienced forced liquidations amounting to $19 billion. According to Cointelegraph, Geoff Kendrick, Head of Digital Assets Research at SC, said that BTC could still reach the $200,000 mark by the end of the year despite the large-scale liquidations and tariff threats from U.S. President Donald Trump. The analysis suggests that investors may begin buying at lower prices once the market stabilizes. Kendrick also projected that sustained inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs would continue to fuel the price increase.
