Thodex founder who misappropriated $2B in client funds dies in prison

Faruk Fatih Özer, the founder of the Turkish cryptocurrency exchange Thodex, has died in prison, Wu Blockchain reported, citing Bloomberg. Özer was sentenced to 11,196 years in prison and fined $5 million on charges of failing to return $2 billion in deposits to 400,000 customers.
