Zerohash obtains EU MiCA license

Stablecoin infrastructure startup Zerohash has obtained a Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) license from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), Cointelegraph reported. This allows the company to provide stablecoin-related services to banks, fintechs, and payment platforms across 30 countries in the European Economic Area (EEA). Previously, Fortune reported that Mastercard plans to acquire Zerohash for approximately $2 billion.
