Kazakhstan mulls adding crypto to its national reserves

Kazakhstan is considering investing a portion of its gold and foreign exchange reserves into cryptocurrencies, Cryptopolitan reported. The statement came from Berik Sholpankulov, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, in response to questions from members of the country's lower house of parliament. He added that Kazakhstan's Ministry of Digital Development is also considering allowing state-owned enterprises to mine cryptocurrencies.
