Glassnode: US shutdown deal in sight, may ease market uncertainty

An agreement to end the U.S. government shutdown is finally in sight, which would significantly ease market uncertainty stemming from the political deadlock. In a post on X, Negentropic, the account of Glassnode co-founders Jan Happel and Yann Allemann, noted that markets thrive on clarity and that uncertainty during the shutdown has been the biggest obstacle to a market recovery. The post highlighted that Senator John Thune is pushing for a vote to end the shutdown and that Senate Republicans are preparing to stay through the weekend to reach a deal.
