November 08, 2025, 12:57 PM
Matt Sheffield, CEO of the Nasdaq-listed company Sharplink Gaming, has refuted claims that the firm deposited $14.47 million worth of ETH on the OKX exchange. In a post on X, Sheffield stated that a report from Arkham detailing the transfer was not connected to his company. He explained that the wallet in question did not belong to Sharplink Gaming and had been mislabeled. The initial allegation was reported by Onchain Lens, which cited Arkham's data suggesting a wallet presumed to belong to Sharplink Gaming had made the deposit.
