Over $220M in crypto futures liquidated in 24 hours as shorts dominate

Over the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency perpetual futures market has experienced significant liquidations, heavily impacting short positions. Bitcoin (BTC) liquidations totaled $115 million, with shorts accounting for 91.35% of that figure. Ethereum (ETH) followed with $91.42 million in liquidations, of which 86.27% were short positions. Zcash (ZEC) also saw considerable activity, with $14.47 million liquidated, 68.53% of which were shorts.
