Bybit reportedly pursuing acquisition of South Korean exchange Korbit

The world's second-largest crypto exchange, Bybit, is pursuing an acquisition of South Korea's fourth-largest exchange, Korbit, Maeil Business Newspaper reported. According to industry sources, Bybit has initiated the process and recently met with Korbit's management. While the talks are in their early stages, the potential acquisition is widely seen within the industry as a logical step. Korbit declined to comment on the matter.
