Brazil to require foreign crypto firms to establish local subsidiaries

Brazil's central bank has set new capital requirements for cryptocurrency service providers, ranging from a minimum of $2 million (10.8 million reais) to a maximum of $7 million. According to CoinDesk, these firms will be subject to strict supervision under the country's foreign exchange and capital market rules. Additionally, foreign companies will be required to establish a local subsidiary to operate in Brazil.
