Altcoin Season Index rises 2 points to 28

CoinMarketCap's Altcoin Season Index stands at 28, an increase of two points from yesterday. The index is calculated by comparing the price performance of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, excluding stablecoins and wrapped coins, against that of Bitcoin over the last 90 days. A period is considered an altcoin season if 75% of these top coins outperform Bitcoin. A reading closer to 100 indicates a stronger altcoin season, while the opposite suggests a bitcoin season.
