Tria co-founder outlines vision for cross-chain neobank

On Nov. 13, CoinNess Night Live hosted Parth Bhalla, co-founder of Tria, for its third episode of season four. The following is a summary of his key remarks.
Bhalla described Tria as a self-custody neobank that processes payments, swaps, and yield-generating activities across all chains without requiring bridges or gas fees. He noted that the platform abstracts away complex chain structures to offer a fast, Web2-like user experience, significantly reducing failure rates and latency compared to traditional wallets.
Tria's chain abstraction technology is built on account abstraction and meta-transactions, which automatically handle execution across multiple chains. This allows users to execute payments and swaps with a single click, eliminating the need to prepare gas tokens, switch chains, or use bridges.
Unlike closed networks such as SWIFT and ACH, Tria settles payments across any chain within seconds. Through the Visa network, users can pay with tokens while merchants receive payment in their local currency. The system operates 24/7, independent of banking hours.
The Tria Card is available in over 150 countries and features 0% fees for top-ups, deposits, and withdrawals. It comes in three tiers—Virtual, Signature, and Premium—offering benefits such as up to 6% cashback, lounge access, and asset protection.
Bhalla explained that the cashback is funded through a combination of payment fees, partner subsidies, and a joint ecosystem budget. The model is designed to redirect funds that would otherwise be spent on advertising back to users as rewards, creating a sustainable structure based on revenue from actual payments and routing.
Looking ahead, Tria is preparing to launch perpetual futures trading, an interest module with yields of up to 15%, real-world asset (RWA) investment options, and bank account transfer capabilities. An AI agent integration in collaboration with Sentient is also in progress, and an announcement regarding the project's Token Generation Event (TGE) is expected soon.
