Saylor: BTC volatility is steadily declining, Strategy is sound

November 19, 2025, 5:59 AM
Strategy co-founder Michael Saylor stated in an interview with Fox Business that Bitcoin's volatility is consistently decreasing and that his company can withstand an 80% to 90% correction. He noted that when Strategy began purchasing Bitcoin in 2020, its annual volatility was around 80%, but it has since fallen to approximately 50%. Saylor predicted that as Bitcoin's market capitalization increases, its volatility will continue to drop by an additional five percentage points every few years. He assessed that, in the long term, Bitcoin will exhibit about 1.5 times the volatility and performance of the S&P 500. Saylor added that even if Bitcoin experiences further declines, the company is structured to endure a significant correction. He affirmed that Bitcoin's fundamentals remain solid and Strategy's business foundation is unshaken.
