Spark shelves mobile app launch to focus on DeFi infrastructure

DeFi protocol Spark has announced it is halting plans for a mobile app to concentrate on DeFi-native liquidity infrastructure and institutional trading. According to CoinDesk, Sam MacPherson, CEO of Spark developer Phoenix Labs, stated that the company is not a consumer app developer and that the market is highly competitive. He added that the firm will focus its capabilities on building out its core strength in liquidity infrastructure.
