Bitwise: Bitcoin faces macro environment similar to pandemic era

Bitcoin is currently facing a macroeconomic environment similar to the one during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to André Dragosch, Head of Research for Europe at Bitwise. Cointelegraph reports that Dragosch described the current asymmetric risk-reward profile as the first of its kind since the COVID era. He explained that BTC has already priced in most negative factors, including recession concerns. Dragosch added that if the effects of accommodative monetary policy fully materialize, global growth could continue through 2026, potentially creating a rebound environment similar to the post-COVID period.
